Ziemer Swiss Diamond Art provides certifications issued by DPL (Diamant Prüflabor), the Internationally recognized gemological laboratory located in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
Each cut ZSDA diamond over 0.75 carats is graded with exactly the same procedures used to grade natural mined diamonds. Each certified ZSDA diamond will have a corresponding gemological certificate listing a value associated with the cut, clarity, color and carat weight. The grading is based on the Rules of the International Diamond Council (IDC) for Grading Polished Laboratory-created Diamonds in accordance with the current regulations.
The certificate clearly mentions that "a laboratory-created diamond is a man made product that has the same chemical composition, crystal structure and physical properties as its natural counterpart."
